RunITALY is an Italian-style family run hosted by the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macau, in partnership with the Marco Polo Society in Hong Kong

Featuring a 8K, a family run, Italian food and beverage and live entertainment, RunITALY is bringing the Italian wellness spirit to Hong Kong. It is part of ITALIA MIA, the festival of Italian culture and lifestyle in Hong Kong and Macau.

The event is composed of three parts:

• 8 kilometers race for adults
• 1 kilometer race for families
• Italian Market

8K Run will start in Hong Kong Science & Technology Park and goes out to the Fo Yin Road and back. Participants will be timed and awards given to the top three runners.

Participation fee:

EARLY BIRD 300HKD per person (until Sept 6th) STANDARD 350HKD per person (until Sept 20th) LATE BIRD 420HKD per person (until October 2nd)

The 1K Family fun run is for teams of one parent and one child. Each team will complete one kilometer together receive a medal upon their finish. The Family Run will not be timed – the purpose of the side event is to encourage a sporty lifestyle and healthy bonding for families.

The maximum age of the child participant is 10 years old.

Participation fee:

EARLY BIRD 400HKD per parent + child (until Sept 6th) STANDARD 450HKD per parent + child (from Sept 6th)

A special Race Bundle is available, allowing one parent to participate in the 8k Run and one parent and child to take part into the 1K Family fun run. The parent does not necessarily has to be the same.

Participation fee:

EARLY BIRD 500HKD (until Sept 6th) STANDARD 650HKD (from Sept 6th)

The Italian Market is held alongside RunITALY and it will start before the races commence and lasts until after the awarding ceremony (from 2PM to 7PM – TBC)

Upon officiation by the VIPs, spectators will be welcomed to visit the booths "Italian style", have an Italian lunch and enjoy a fun day out with their families.

During this time, there will be music and other entertainment on stage.
