This month we propose a well-known, but always fascinating, walk.
With stunning coastal scenery and easy accessibility from the city, the Dragon's Back is a popular escape that deservedly gets mentions in travel guides.
In a short time, from the frenetic city of Hong Kong we will find ourselves along a path surrounded by greenery.
The walk is part of the Wilson trail section 8 and starts from Shek O road.
After about 20 minutes, you will arrive at a lookout point over the breath-taking landscape of Shek O Beach and the magnificent Dragon's Back looking northwest.
At a height of 284 meters, there is a platform on Shek O Peak, an ideal place to take a breather, where we can enjoy a spectacular view of Shek O, Tai Wan and Tung Lung Island.
At the end of the hike we can have lunch at Shek O beach, one of Hong Kong's many beaches.
